Alcove is a manufacturer and does not sell directly to the end-user. You can consult the distributor list on this web site.

2) What is the colour of the jets on a Select whirlpool ?

If the colour of the tub is standard, white, bone, biscuit or grey, the jets are chrome with caps of the same colour as the tub; If the colour of the tub is not standard, the jets are chrome/chrome and there are no extra costs (there are extra costs for the non standard colors of the tub).

3) Are the wooden blocks always included in the height of the tubs ?

Yes, the wooden blocks are always included in the height of the tubs.

5) What is the difference between taking a Balne-Air bath and taking a whirlpool bath ?

The Balne-Air offers you a relaxing massage and the whirlpool offers you a muscular massage.

6) What colours are available for the electronic controls ?

The electronic controls are normally white. Chrome electronic controls are available for an additional $10.00.

7) Is it essential to leave an access for the blower and the pump

Yes and this access must be a minimum of 12" by 22" (30.5cm x 56cm).

8) What kind and what length of tubing extension is needed for the Balne-air system ?

You can use a PVC or ABS 1½" in diameter tubing. Do not use more than eight (8) feet. Alcôve can supply the extra lengths. You will also need PVC glue.

9) Can the electronic control and blower be placed elsewhere ?

It is possible to relocate the blower and the electronic control at no extra costs except for the extra tubing required (50¢ per foot). Cancellations for such demands cannot be cancelled.

10) Are accessories in “brushed nickel” colour ?

Yes this colour is available.

11) What can we do when the Balne-Air or therapeutic injectors are blocked ?

Carefully take off the cap; Block the drain outlet; Start the system at full speed; Hit lightly the jet with the handle of a screwdriver so as to get the bearing out; Clean the interior of the jet and the bearing with alcohol; Replace the parts.

12) Can I use bubble bath and bath oil in my Balne-Air or therapeutic bathtub ?

Yes. You can use bubble bath and bath oil in your balne-air bathtub.

13) Does the ventilator function with a propeller ?

No, the ventilator functions with turbine.

14) The rooftop of the shower seems crooked.

When the rooftop of the shower seems crooked or is leans toward the front, it is important to check if the rooftop has been solidly attached to the ceiling with a hook and a suspension strap supplied by the installer.
